I had the honor of meeting Bill a year ago. From the day I met him and Peg, they had me laughing and smiling. It was a pleasure to visit with them. I often found myself talking with them long after I should have been home. I enjoyed every story, joke and advice he would share with me. We did a lot of little projects together as well. From putting a new sideview mirror on his car to putting up shelves or taking a bed frame apart (all while being sick, mind you). He was an amazing man and I'm lucky to have known him and his wonderful family!

Jan, Carol and extended family,
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your dad.
The angels only take the best, and I'm sure he's already got his wings.
Prayers to all of you at this difficult time.

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Bill as he battled a terrible illness with complete dignity, and a wonderful sense of humor.
Our time together, though brief, was replete with discussions about woodworking, dogs, and invariably, the Marine Corps. We shared stories,
experiences, and more than a few laughs.
Bill will be terribly missed, yet I feel confident he is receiving his just reward for being such a wonderful man
Rest in peace dear friend

There are no words that can express how wonderful Bill was to me over the years. He is a very very special person. I have thought of him often and will pray for him daily and all of you during this very sad and difficult time.
