Very sorry to hear about the passing of Charlie Canning. He was one of my heroes in our industry. Always enjoyed my conversations with him. He always had some words of wisdom to share with me which I especially appreciated early on in my career. My condolences to the Canning family.

Jack, et.al, let me say how sorry I am of CC's passing. We had years of positive business and personal goings ons, and it was fun. The 22+ years between us and the Pub businesses have whizzed by and you would be considered among those missed. Jack and Sunny, be well, Lord's blessings on all.

I attended Oak Grove-Coburn with Gena. I am a Providence College alumni as well. What a great life in business and charity. Rest In Peace Mr Canning.

Charlie was a good person and a great boss, Worked for Pine State then called Pine State Tobacco and Candy Wholesale from 1964 - 1965 and my husband worked for Pine State for 24 years. Talked with him a few years ago, he sounded the same and was still kind and thoughtful...Rest in Peace "Mr. Canning" working for you and your company gave me the best training then any school I could have attended. Again so so sorry for the Canning family!

to the entire Canning family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies. For those not directly involved in the business, Charlie was like a second father to me when I was a young guy learning the business. I have so many wonderful memories of this very special man. He will be missed by many.
