Mrs. Cantella, Charlie and Mike:
Lancaster, PA is a world away. I recently learned of Mr. Cantella's passing, and I want to send my condolences. I can't remember him without a smile. That says something about the family he helped raise. Think back on the memories with smiles yourselves, because we have no doubt where your father is now. God bless.

You have my deepest sympathy at the loss of your husband and father.
I met Charlie at Comtra Theatre many years ago and we did a few shows together. My favorite being Oklahoma.
He was such a gentle person and always so happy. He certainly was a joy to know.
What a lovely family he was blessed with also. I got to meet the boys and Megan at the theatre also.
Charlie and I were e-mail buddies and he would keep me up to date on the Grandchildren with pictures of each of them. I will truly miss his e-mails and friendship.

We lived in Mars for 21 years and knew Charlie and family for almost that entire period of time.We moved from Mars in 1988, eventually to Florida and Georgia. Charlie was a good friend during our Mars years and one of only a few that we kept in contact with during all the years since. Sincerely a great guy who we will miss communicating with. Our best wishes and prayers to the family.

I had known Charlie since I was just a little girl. He used to do shows at our church and practice them with my dad at my house. I will always remember them. There were the four of them: Charlie; my dad, Joe SeNay; Tom Hannon and Jim Golden. It was the best time for me as I was growing up. He was a blessing.

We were so sorry to hear about Charlie's passing and didn't find out until Monday. We have fond memories of Christmas Caroling in the 1950's with him & Mary.

A kind and gentle man with a humor and outlook that I deeply admired and will truly miss. He was a wonderful man who is deservedly at peace with God.

So sorry about Charlie. We had some fun times at COMTRA. Loved his performance in "Mornings at Seven". I will miss him. Could not make the viewing do to illness.

Mr. Cantella always took the time to chat with us about our daily lives. He always waved to us at the bus stop all those mornings. And I still remember Mr. Cantella smiling in his garden at the end of the driveway.

I can only pray for neighbors as great when I buy a house.

...and always had the best candy bars @ Halloween!

Our prayers are with the family in this tough time.

Love-
