Casper, Charles R. Age 73, of Indian Head Park, passed away on June 28th, 2011 after a short illness. He is survived by his sister, Virginia (Philip) Burket, nieces Lee Dekorsi, nee Burket, Susan Grosskopf, nee Burket, Merrie Burket and nephew David Burket, great nephews Wesley Dekorsi, Erik Grosskopf, Joshua Burket and great neice Taylor Burket, and his many friends through work, the La Grange Country Club and his extensive travels. Chuck was born in Elmhurst, IL and built his retirement home in Indian Head Park on what was once the family owned golf course, Par 3. He graduated from York High School, University of Michigan BA, and he received his Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He opened his La Grange Law practice in 1967. He enjoyed his many games of Gin Rummy with his friends, loved to cook, tell stories and most of all, he loved to travel. He traveled the world on more than 70 cruises and had been every place that he had wanted to go. He was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Margaret Casper. He was a generous contributor to the CSO and a strong supporter of the Chick Evans Scholarship Program. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Funeral and burial services which were already held, were arranged by Hallowell & James Funeral Home. 708-352-6500
