I'm sadden by this sorry so long to see it
He was a great man and his family was his life

Always will be thought of never gotten

He touched so many people with his kindness and wisdom mostly by showing how important family and God is to all
Prayers always there and his legacy will continue

My condolences to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of receiving both tax and life guidance from Chuck for almost a decade. He was extremely knowledgeable and level headed in the way he approached things. I always felt like my concerns mattered. His genuine kindness will always be remembered. My son looked forward to every tax season. I would come home with an assortment of tootsie roll pops, courtesy of Chuck.

I was so very, very, and deeply saddened when I heard of Chuck's passing.
Chuck was a very wonderful and very vibrant man. I always had very nice conversations with him. He will be sadly missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. I had only met Chuck this past year, but he immediately made me feel at ease when discussing my business and personal finances. I trusted him wholeheartedly. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and passionate in helping others. My sincerest sympathies to his family, friends, and all those who knew him.

Chuck was such an amazing person. Jeff and I are devastated at Chuck's passing and we will miss him greatly.

Thank you for doing out taxes for so many years that I can't even remember how long. The high spot was having Gold Star chili dogs with you after our annual tax meeting. I was so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I had talked him recently. He was a trusted tax advisor and was always willing to answer any questions. My prayers have been with his family and staff. I know he will be missed by many friends and clients.

Truly, one of the kindest, most gentle, caring person I’ve ever met . He was our accountant for over 25 years my husband, Ken, and I truly appreciated all the special treatment he gave us. here is an example. My husband Ken, used to steal all the orange Tootsie Roll Pops. I would yell at Ken and say. You quit taking all the orange ones.. Chuck is going to get mad. but he never did
My husband Ken died seven years ago, and every year after, Chuck would always include an orange tootsie roll, pop in my tax returns . You will be missed by so many people . so I just want to thank you for the way you touched my life with a simple orange tootsie roll pop

What a shock to read that Chuck is gone. Such a nice man. I have many good memories of our times together at Roger Bacon. Class of 1971.

I was employed by Chuck for 21 years. I basically "grew up" working for him. We both saw each other's boys become the young men they are today. Mine and my husband's hearts hurt. Chuck did our taxes for years. We always looked forward to our meeting with him because of his courteous and friendly manner. We would joke that if he got us a big enough refund we’d give him a cruise as a reward. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to the family. May God give you comfort.

We are so saddened to see this. We just saw him on February 7

We were so saddened to get the news on Monday. Chuck was my accountant, but took care of me like a family member. While I only know him through being his client, it's clear this man was a gem of a human who will be greatly missed. Big hugs to everyone who loved him.

What would I like to say about Chuck Vonderhaar? We shared many fun memories with Phi Lambda Pi; outings, Friday night dance, fund raising festivals, and even the governing committee. He was a kind young man and grew into a man of integrity! May God give peace to his family and comfort in the many memories they share!

Monday morning I opened an email with this sad and shocking news. Chuck was my CPA for 30 years. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and helpful to me in a business capacity, he was also a friend and mentor. While I didn’t speak with him often, Chuck always had time to respond to my email or phone calls when I had questions or needed his professional opinion. Chuck was a strong Catholic man who had excellent character and very high moral and business standards. Maya Angelou once said that we often forget what people say but we never forget how they make us feel. A few years ago I was going through a very difficult life change and Chuck reached out to me to see how I was doing and do discuss tax changes going forward. I will never forget that. I am privileged to call Chuck my friend and I will miss him—as will many—both professionally and personally. God bless you and rest in peace my friend. I am praying for your family and friends at the most difficult time.

I am just so very sad; Chuck was a gem of a guy, and a wonderful accountant. He was such a steady, calming force through some truly frightening, turbulent times in my life (including someone stealing my identity with the IRS.) He had a competence and caring that is not readily found with other professionals and he understood the human element—the personal story—behind the figures and balance sheets that so many other accountants miss or ignore, in my experience. My sincere condolences to the Family.

So sorry to hear about Chuck. Always liked visiting him at the firm as we would discuss the dairy industry as we both are from dairy families. Prayers for the family.

Sixteen years ago, Chuck hired me into his practice and included me as if I were family. Myself and my children have nothing but fond memories of him. We attended many Cyclones games together and enjoyed seeing him light up with excitement. He was always sure to catch a puck or two for the kiddos. Chuck was genuinely a wonderful guy, he was such a blessing in our lives. I will forever be grateful for everything he taught me, and our friendship that we shared.

Chuck was a good friend as was his brothers done my taxes for many years. I'm a former Reading Resident
lived there for over 50 years before moving to Florida.

We were so very sorry to hear the news. The first time I met Chuck, I was attending a Real Estate Investors meeting - I was so impressed with his professionalism and that of his sons. From that point on, I was a client of his accounting practice - always a professional of high standards. May he rest in peace.
