Charles Wayne "Charlie" Clakley

Services for Charles Wayne "Charlie" Clakley, 32, of Longview, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Charlie died Thursday, April 15, 2010, in Longview. He was born June 27, 1977, in Tyler. He worked for Martin Resources as a dispatcher and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Bowden, and by a brother, Justin Clakley.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Teri Clakley of White-house; grandfather, Charles Bowden; aunts and their husbands, Vicki and Jerry Morehead of Corsicana and Angie and George Stearnes of Johnson City; an uncle, Danny Bowden and his wife Barbara of Waco; and many more family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Victor Boyd, Lance Tippitt, Mark Bohn, John Scott, Gary Callens and Ashley Shaver. Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Jarvis, Chuck Stearnes, Jerry Morehead Jr., David Phillips and Sean Slabin.
