Charlie Coker was a distinguished gentleman and a great friend.

He always gave wise counsel in helpful ways when consulted. He was well versed in domestic business as well as overseas knowledge.

I always looked forward to our times together at Lyford Cay.

My condolences to the family.

My wife Nina (Laughlin) Bottomley and I knew Charlie from our years as members at the Lyford Cay.
He was a very genuine southern gentleman who watched our family grow up on vacation. He was wonderful to us all; always interested in what was happening in our lives and how we were enjoying our Club, of which he was a Past Chairman. He will be missed by many and we send sincere condolences to the greater Coker family. May he Rest in Peace.
