I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Charlie. He sure did enlighten everyone with his smile and sense of humor. He will always live in my heart. Love to all.

Sad to hear the news. I remember him not only as a good neighbor, but as a great man. All of my early memories of him are still remembered today , from cookouts to baseball games as a youth.

We always enjoyed Charlie's enthusiasm for whatever family event we celebrated with him and Janet. His sweet demeanor and genuine interest for everyone he met is the memory we hold in our hearts of him.

Uncle Charlie always knew how to enjoy each and every day, even if it was going to work and then coming home to watch of bit of TV with a beer in his hand. He was always friendly, always helpful, and always a warm and caring man. Thank you, Uncle Charlie, for sharing with us. We are all richer for having known you!
