I always google/email Chuck every 90 days or so to see how he is doing, and was totally shocked to see his obituary. Chuck was a very close friend since we met at Storage Technology in 1980. We shared an IBM background, and continued to work together at StorageTek, Econocom, and Capricorn, in the equipment sales and leasing business. While Chuck embraced his obligation and served in Viet Nam, I avoided it. He risked his life every day in one of the most dangerous capacities possible, and I would tell anybody that would listen that (in spite of his small stature and soft-spoken demeanor) he was more than twice the man I was. Carol, I hope you remember me from my visit(s) to your Niwot home, and I can't begin to tell you how sad this news is for me. I can't think of anybody whose friendship I valued more, and if I had stayed in Boulder I'm sure we would had many more memories that I could treasure. Buck Morrison

With shock and dismay we received this news... a good man lost before his time. From those of us who knew him at Goodbye Blue Monday, know that we are greatly saddened.
