Mrs Crews & family, I am sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I worked with Chuck many years at Honeywell and remember so well his cheerful attitude. He was truly a joy to be around. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Priscilla, I believe you and I have never met, but Charles (what we called him when we were kids) was my very first friend. We lived next door to the Crews family in Elkville when my dad was on recruiting duty. We moved away many years ago, but Charles will always have a place in my heart as my first and lasting friend.

Chuck was a great person with a good sense of humor. He brought sunshine to every one who met him. He will be missed. Condolence to his wife and daughter. A good family.

I am so sorry this kind, cheerful man has been taken from us. I will never forget how after the May 8 storm last year, Chuck was walking down the alley and offered me brats. Everyone is town was grilling what had been in their freezers due to the power outage. I told him yes and took some hot dog buns from the breadbox. We all had a great time despite the circumstances. John and I will miss his smile and wave in the mornings. He was a lovely person.

What sad news! I remember those long summer days and nights in Elkville when we played ball, kick the can, flash light tag and any other thing we could think of to keep us busy. And also getting those little yellow tomatoes from his dad's garden. Many fond memories.
