Charles E. Crocker

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles announce his passing on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 80. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gail of 58 years, their 3 children, daughter Terrie Hauser (Mike), daughter Susan Tourault (Jeff), and son Chuck Crocker (Lori). He will also be fondly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, Brittney Danas (Mike), Kristen Braman, Clay Tourault (Jocelyn), Chris Tourault, Jacob Wood, Steven Crocker, Blake Crocker, Anna D’Antonio (Jamie), Kirsten Hauser, and his 6 great-grandchildren, Cohen and Weston Danas, Kyleigh and Addison Braman, and Presley and Trace Tourault. He is also survived by his brother, Tommy Crocker, nephew Scott Crocker and loving cousins and friends. Charles was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Phoebus of Hampton, VA until he settled in Virginia Beach in 1978. He was a member of Wave Church in Virginia Beach. He graduated from Hampton High School, was a Master Mason, AF & AM, and a retired CPO U.S. Navy Seabees reservist with 20 years of service. He retired from the Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. as manager/special services with 35 years of service. Charles had an interest in all of the building trades, he loved to work on projects around his home and those of family and friends. The family will have a private celebration of life.
