Charles Eric Daisy

Charles Eric Daisy, 62, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on May 12, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 6, 1962, in Tomah, WI. He was a 1980 graduate from Watertown High School, Watertown, SD. Charles was known for his generous and caring nature, making him a lovable figure to all who knew him.

In his career, Charles served as a banquet manager for hotels in Watertown, SD, and Minneapolis, MN. He was the owner of liquor stores in Hopkins, MN, and Victoria, MN, and worked as an Assistant Manager for 20 years at Holiday StationStores in Plymouth, MN. Furthermore, Charles dedicated his time as a leader of the AA Sunday Big Book Meeting at Oak Knoll Church in Minnetonka, MN. Charles and family were most proud of his accomplishment of celebrating 22 years of sobriety.

Outside of work, Charles found joy in helping anyone in need. His selflessness extended to his personal life, where he cherished his family and friends deeply. Charles enjoyed playing Liverpool Rummy with nieces and nephews. They took great joy if they could beat him. During the last 3.5 years, Charles found his greatest joy in watching his great nephew Carl Colton on Fridays and any other day he was needed. Charles was preceded in death by Charley Daisy (father); Bob Loeb (step-father); and, Bill Loeb (step-brother). Charles is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Loeb, Champlin, MN and his siblings: Dennis (Jeanie) Daisy of Brookings, OR; Denise (John) Whalen of Champlin, MN; Wes (Tammy) Daisy of Yankton, SD; Half-brother John (Tara) Loeb of Concord, NC; and, Step-brother Bob (Anita) Loeb of Jensen Beach, FL. He also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life open house in honor of Charles will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Avenue North, Plymouth, MN, 55447, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Charles will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
