Vicki, Cheryl, Cindy and Kathy:
We are so sorry for your loss and that we were unable to attend his celebration of life.
For the record: Charlie did a great job keeping "Wilma and Xena" in line during Kathy's bowling party.
May you find comfort in your memories of your brother.

Bonnie and the entire Davis family:
Obviously, I was completely shocked and saddened after hearing of Charlie's sudden passing last week. He and I and friends just had a "Christmas" lunch downtown a few weeks prior and had a great time. Charlie was his usual humorous, witty, kind and entertaining self. He was so upbeat as the two of you prepared for an upcoming warm weather Florida getaway that it's still hard to comprehend he's left us. I was looking forward to and already enjoying "rekindling" our friendship since his recent retirement. I'll miss my conversations, golf outings, lunches and dinners with him, not to mention the occasional adult beverage! I'm comforted in knowing he was so happy after meeting and marrying you, Bonnie. Charlie was an excellent example of a happily married man. (Clearly, good things do come to those who wait!) I always felt better about myself and life in general after spending time with Charlie. He was truly a gift to all of us, and it was an honor and a pleasure to have had him as a friend. Our earthly loss is heaven's great gain. May his memory be eternal!

With deepest sympathy,

Chris Boosalis and family

Dear Charlie Davis Family,
I just found out through a friend that Charlie passed away suddenly. I worked with him many years ago. He was a great guy! He was so witty! Fun person to have around.

My sympathy to all of Charlie's family,
Charlie--"Chuck-Weasel" and I were high school friends --probably about 15 years since our last together in St. Peter.
My fondest memory was giving him his first airplane ride.

To the Davis Family... Those of us at IBM in Rochester MN would like to extend our condolences. Charlie was a great person to work with and it did not take long to figure out what a good person he was.
We could always count on him to come through when he was at Anixter. Were we happy when he told us he had married a "great lady" Bonnie, You were both truly blessed... May warm memories of his laugh and smile heal the pain in your hearts.... Jay and the IBM gang....

To Vicki - and Denny, Lowell, Deanna, Cindy, and Carol ...

I was so sad to hear of Charlie's sudden death. I recently lost a brother, too, so I know the pain you must feel at this difficult time. Keep your special memories of Charlie in your hearts and let this be a comfort to you in the days ahead ...

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I've lost track of Charlie the last few years. We used to golf frequently in the summers, getting different groups of friends together at various courses and then some great dinners and conversation.

You never knew when an impromptu"Bible Study" would take place at Bunny's or other favorite spots.

Charlie always had the greatest respect for women. Must be the influence of "Mama Leona" and his sisters.

I can't believe this kind and gentle friend is gone.

To Bonnie and Family,
It was truly an honor to work with Charlie at Anixter. I was lucky to experience his humor, wit and charm. And also as a fellow "professional" golfer, his passion for the game. I can imagine Charlie on the 1rst tee in heaven, with that big grin on his face enjoying every moment. Bonnie, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family.

Charlie and I went through Penasacola Navy flight training at the same time in the late 60's. Coincidentaly, we wound up working together in Minnesota in the 70's. Years later we found that he had grown up in the same town, Cleveland, MN, as my wife, Anita. This jarhead will miss you good friend.
