On behalf of the living veterans of the South Alberta Regiment and the members of the SAR Veterans Association, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Charles.
I was very saddened to hear of his passing as I always enjoyed chatting with him and seeing him at the South Alberta Regiment reunions. I regret that I did not get the chance to get his life story as he and I had planned on doing this early this year.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning we WILL remember him.

Barry, Darrel, & Rod,
Our thoughts are with you at this time. Uncle Charlie had a great life and it is a time to celebrate his life not mourn his passing. Take time to reflect on your Dad.
