News Death Notice
DELK, Charles Edgar 88, formally of Hamilton, OH, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, KY. He was born on June 1, 1928 in Ludlow, KY, to the late William Delk and Edit Trimble Delk. Mr. Delk was a retired supervisor for Champion / International Paper and a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War. In addition to his wife of 65 years, Nettie Pearl Delk, he is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Bob) Shanes of Versailles, KY and son, Steve (Deb) Delk of Denver, CO., grandchildren Jeremy Delk, Matt Delk, Bryan Delk, Emily Shanes and Catherine Shanes, greatgrandchildren, brother Arnold Delk (Judy) Willamstown, KY and sister Shirley Clayton (Bill) Hebron, KY. He is preceeded in death by brother William Delk (Maxine) Ludlow, KY. Private services are being planned. www.clarklegacycenter.com
