Charles being compassionate about the animals would be glad this happened to us:
A Purr-fect New Beginning: The Tale of Rukha and the D'Koodsha's
Once upon a time, in the quiet suburban town of Elm Ridge, lived an elderly couple; Ma and Pa D'Koodsha. Both having retired, they found themselves ensnared in the grip of emptiness that life often presents upon the dusk of one´s working years. Little did they know their lives were about to be touched by whoever or rather whatever lurked beneath their sunflower garden.
A mere six weeks old, a tiny ball of fur, with striking amber eyes that hold stories of abandonment and betrayal, Rukha was his name. Rukha, an abandoned kitten, had found solace under the shelter of the D'Koodsha's backyard shed. His world was as small as the under space of the shed, yet every once in a while, he was enthralled by the vibrant sunflowers that danced in the gentle breeze.
One fine evening, as the golden hues of sunset painted the sky, Ma D´Koodsha spotted a small creature frolicking with her sunflowers. Through her squinted eyes, she realized it was an emaciated kitten. Concerned, she called out for Pa. Unprepared for a kitten, the only immediate nourishment they could provide was a can of albacore tuna.
The first encounter was far from perfect. Rukha, afraid and cautious, recoiled at the sight of the elderly couple. His past had taught him humans were not to be trusted. Yet, the smell of albacore tuna was too hard to ignore. Hunger eventually won over fear, and he nibbled at the food, always keeping a wary eye on Ma and Pa D'Koodsha.
The D'Koodsha's knew winning Rukha's trust would not come easily or quickly. They made it their mission to nurse Rukha back to health. Once he was strong enough, they took him to the vet to ensure all his medical needs were addressed, thereby taking their first big step towards earning his trust.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The elderly couple was nothing but a beacon of patience, care, and compassion, offering Rukha a serene sanctuary. Their dedication contrasted his past, and slowly he began to break free of his defensive shell.
Over time, the bond between the D'Koodsha's and Rukha grew, filled with mutual gratitude and love. For Rukha, they were not just caretakers; they became his family. Every night, Rukha would curl up on Pa´s lap, purring contentedly while Ma would lovingly stroke his velvet-like fur.
From being an abandoned kitten to an adored family member, Rukha's destiny had truly changed under the watchful eyes of the D'Koodsha's. The couple's retired life had found a new purpose, and Rukha had found a loving forever home. Each day they reminded each other that even during life's autumn years, there is always room for new beginnings and unlikely friendships. And thus, the story of lonely-hearts finding solace in one another was written in the quiet neighborhood of Elm Ridge.

For me, Charlie lived a philosophy of life that touched everyone in his life. I enjoyed the musical part of him that brought joy to many. Came across this passage written by Barry Long as he was going through the experience of his own death and share it with you as an extension of Charlie´s journey on earth. The picture below is a kitten Judy and I rescued when he came to our back yard sanctuary seeking love and kindness after being abandoned. Thank you Charlie for the love and care you gave to the animals in need.
The 'more real' is the place where at death the spirit of intelligence in everyone awakens after gravitating to a degree in the psyche equal to its own fineness and refinement of self-knowledge. This is its heaven, its utter and complete fulfillment. After numerous other processes, and in a time we can't comprehend, the particular intelligence is born again on earth. Thus this essential invisible part of existence makes possible the great cycle and drama of life and death - although to us it is really the great cycle or drama of living, death and life.
For us in existence, the levels of the abstract psyche also act as buffers between the sensory physical - the brain - and the blinding power of the spirit. The spirit in existence is paralleled by the majesty and fiery interconnection between the galaxies and stars as revealed by our brain-made instruments (giving further divine protection from the searing power). Nothing physical could stand the divine profundity and power direct. Here I am reminded of Arjuna's cry of terror 'Stop, stop!' in the Hindu 'Bhagavat Gita' when, at his request, the god Krishna reveals his awesome power.
This also applies after you die and is why your individual consciousness gravitates to a level that is heaven to you - whereas too much might be unbearable

Charles being a peacemaker, is blessed as a Son of God. Every loving thought that the Son of God ever had is eternal and he shared a lifetime of them with you. In Ancient Greece Diane, you are known as the goddess that brought him into alignment with the Love he is. From the heart of God where he now is, he holds you and cherishes you from the other side which is as thin as a cigarette paper. Know in your heart he is as near as a whispered prayer. The love you share can never die as he continues to walk with you every step of the way. Feel his presence and know you are not alone. He is with you always being love all ways.

The love of Charlie will remain with those he touched and nurtured. I am honored to have had his graciousness in my life and will continue to honor his legacy. Rest in God today dear Charles where peace and stillness lay. We bless each other with your peace, may the healing be complete, shine your light and love always and rest in God today. With great love and affection, Stavros
