My memories of Chuck are all pleasant. I worked for Amoco in Land Data for several years until I transferred to production and exploration. Chuck always had a ready smile and a great attitude which was contagious. Heaven will certainly be a brighter place with him there.

Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

Todd,

We are so sorry about your dad and want you to know we are thinking of you, Dawn & Taylor as well as the rest of your family. Be strong for your mom but it's o.k. to be sad. Take care of each other and remember the good times, your dad can share the rest of the future with you from Heaven.

It is with a sweet-sad smile that I know, heaven is so greatly blessed by Chuck's laugh. Myself as a young geologist with Amoco in the 1970's, Chuck helped teach me the immense power and true professionallism that is so much a part of work as a Petroleum Landman. His unabashed joy in working with us all, as part of a team, made everyone's life richer and "work" just plain fun. His life was enriched by yours, just as he enriched all of your lives, and ours. God bless you all.

Chuck was a dear friend to us all. We will miss him. I especially will think of him at this year's Lightner, where he was a frequent player with Cully and others. He always made that day special for the rest of us. I sincerely hope that your sadness may be tempered with smiles when you think of him.

To the Dixon Family:

My condolences to your family. Chuck hired me as a secretary at Amoco back in 1980. It was my first job in Houston and I will always appreciate him taking the chance and hiring me! I was privileged to have worked for him at Amoco.

I am so sorry to hear of Chuck's death. I'm sure you will miss him very much. I remember working with him while Amoco was forming MW Petroluem. What a fun, learning experience. He kept me laughing most of the time. Please accept my condolences on the loss of this fine man.

Sincerely

Sherri

To the Family of Chuck Dixon: I express our sincere and deepest sympathy. I consider it my good fortune to have known Chuck so well during the last 40 years! Helen and I will miss him, and we will remember all the good times in Tyler and Houston. I valued Chuck for his continued friendship and for the fact that Chuck was always the one to bring a smile or laugh when it was most needed. Chuck was exceptionally proud of you, Darlene, and of your boys. It was my pleasure to have shared those years from 1963 to 1992 with Chuck, and he always showed a wonderful attitude toward life and me. I will miss him a lot. Ralph Robinson
