DUKE, Dr. Charles Gavin (DDS) April 18, 1909 - July 14, 2003 On July 14, 2003, Dr. Charles Gavin Duke of Edmonton died. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Grace; sons, Gavin (Laurie), Douglas (Kari); grandchildren, Carlie, Lisa, Christopher, Michael and Kirstin. Charles practiced Dentistry in Edmonton for many years, in private practice and as a part time instructor at the University of Alberta School of Dentistry. Later, until retirement, he was head of the D.V.A. Dental Clinic at the University of Alberta Hospital. The family wishes to thank the staff of the 5D2 unit at the University of Alberta Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during his illness. Cremation. A Private Family gathering will be held at a later date.
