I just saw where Charlie passed away and it saddens me greatly. He was bigger than life and such an important member of my life growing up. He and my father ( Al Scheidt) knew each other for a long time. Cincinnati lost a great person and Charlie will be missed so very much. I extend my sympathy to the entire family. I just heard the news today and wanted to express my appreciation to Chuck and your family for all that you have done for the students in the Oak Hills Local School District. Your family's legacy will certainly live on through many generations of Oak Hills students due to your generous donations for scholarships and your family's advocacy for kids. While I have only known Chuck for five years, I know he was a good man because I see it reflected in you and your children. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We always respected Charlie as much as anyone we have ever known, an intelligent and trustworthy person.
