Charles D. Egly, 26, of Marion, IN, formerly of Montpelier, IN. passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his residence in Marion, IN. He was born on Sunday, November 24, 1991, in Hartford City, IN. He married Anastasia (Powell) Egly on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Montpelier, IN. Charles attended Blackford County Schools. He attended the Kingsley Full Gospel church in Dunkirk, IN. He worked for Poseidon Barge as a welder-fitter in Berne, IN. Charles loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, working on cars, and camping. It didn't matter what they were doing, as long as he was with his family he was happy.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Robert Southerland, Maternal Grandfather - Lonnie Hawkins, Paternal Grandfather - Frank Egly, Paternal Grandmother - Ella Egly, Paternal Step Grandmother - Judy Egly, and several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.


Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
A service to celebrate his life will follow at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 24, 2018 with the Pastor Clarence Baker officiating.
