It was my great fortune to have a lovely family living next-door to my Aunt/Uncle on Linton St. I treasured visits there since both households were places of gracious welcome and filled with the loveliest of hearts. Chuckie became an essential reason for my joy in being there along with his elegant sister who was kind and even encouraging of my (our) childish gesticulations. In overnights in their home their Mother made me feel welcome and as safe as I have ever felt. Despite the decades past and our staccato times together Chuckie will remain one of the fondest parts of my child-puzzle and I thank him deeply for that. Sincere condolences to the Family. I lived next door to the Ewer family for 18 years, watched the kids grew up nicely. Millie and Charlie were a team and the kindest most helpful people anyone could meet! Blessed to live next door! When I was rushed to the Hospital They took care of my dog and animals. Charlie was always so very helpful whether getting my mower started or taking me up to St Marys for tests. I will add Charlie loved his weed wacker! lol! Great easy going guy! Will be so missed! Very sad news...- Old Neighbor Lynn

I had the pleasure of spending many delightful days with the Ewers when we were all much younger. One such occasion was putting the boat in the water in the Ocean City Marina. Also, attending the home on several occasion. Charlie was alway inviting and always sharing his latest hobby. Blessings to Mildred and all the family. Loretta Long, Flourtown, Pa Jan 15, 2021
