On Friday, November 8, 2013, of Robinson Twp., age 86. Beloved husband of Olive Fichter; father of Wayne (Janet) Fichter, Kathy (Jerry) Parrott and Polly (Harry) Dykes; grandfather of Jennifer, Jessica, Brooke, David, Tammy, Tanya, and Nicole; also 14 great-grandchildren; survived by many nieces and nephews, and his loving puppy, Misty. Friends received Monday 10-12 p.m., followed by a noon Funeral Service at the JOSEPH M. SOMMA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 5405 Steubenville Pike, Moon Run, Robinson Twp. Memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Terry during your time of sorrow. I will always remember my visit with Chuck at camp talking about Oakdale and his youth there. I didn't know how much I enjoyed my time living in that area until our conversation. Chuck always had a sweet smile and a good word anytime I talked to him. He will be missed.

Dear Aunt Terry and family, So sorry for your loss. Uncle Charles my one and only Uncle will be missed so very much by us. We would reminisce about the families we knew and how much our little town of Oakdale had changed over the years. Uncle Charles was always happy to see us and made us feel welcome.
