My thoughts and prayers are with the Fitzgerald family during their time of sorrow. Jan, I have alot of fond memories of your family. I went to school with you and enjoyed many activities with you and your family. My first husband also worked for your dad for many years so the contact was still there. Again, my prayers are with you and your family.

Today I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. CA Fitzgearled. I only knew him breifly but feel very blessed to have had the oppurtunity to hear his many humorous golf stories and quotes from his books. Now he can play the Masters with the Master every day.

Charlie Fitzgerald was an extraordinary person. I know that he taught me a lot, personally, through my association with him at TFL.
What I learned from Charlie has meant a huge amount to me in my life and in the life of my family. I realize that during the whole time of my association with TFL one of my main goals was not to let Charlie down. The importance he placed upon TFL and the values he held for it and "the wonderful world of football" filtered down to every member of the TFL family. I literally don't think he could ever be given enough recognition for founding TFL. I don't know of another program like it. TFL has positively influenced the lives of many thousands of people in its over fifty years of service. Without Charlie this simply would not have happened. I am forever grateful that my family had the chance for the TFL experience and that I was lucky enough to have known a great gentleman, Charlie Fitzgerald.

Mr. Fitzgerald was a visionary and will be deeply missed. As a young man who grew up at Fitzgerald Field, playing football, baseball, and working on the fields, my life was shaped by him and the many men who took time to coach and mentor me. The vision of Charles Fitzgerald will live for many generations because now we are passing it forward to the young athletes we mentor and coach. Thank you Mr. Fitzgerald and God Bless your family.

With Mr. Fitzgerald's passing, we have truly lost one of the best mentors, friends. leaders and father figures in the Tucker area. My family was a part of TFL for many wonderful years. The lessons learned, friendships made and the heartfelt love and affection from Charles and Agnes will always be remembered and felt throughout Tucker. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the "TFL" community who will definately feel the loss of his passing for a long time. Thanks for the memories and for always being there for my family. We love you and will miss you. Godspeed!
