UNION CITY -- Charles "Chuck" N. Greer of Union City, OH passed away on December 24, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on November 5,1942 to the late Charles E. and Betty B. Greer (Davis). He married Mary Crawford on November 19, 1960.
Chuck drove school bus for Mississinawa Valley Schools for 27 years and worked for Whitesel's dairy farm. He was an avid IU basketball and Tennessee women's basketball fan. He enjoyed antique glass, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife Mary of 62 years, children; Jerry (Barb) Greer of Berlin, PA, Cherryl (TJ) LaBouef of Rome NY, Sandy Greer of Union City, OH, Ken Greer of Rossburg, OH, Paula Adkins of Union City, OH, siblings; Bonnie (Lee) Crowell of Greenville, OH, Cherryl (Ron) Thornburg of Pittsburg, OH, Vickie Bragg, of Greenville, OH, grandchildren; Jason Greer of Meyersdale, PA, BJ East of Rome, NY, Michael East of Rome, NY, Ryan Greer of Rossbug, Oh, Krisandra Male of Greenville, OH, Gideon Adkins of Union City, OH, Dana LaBouef of Rome NY, Karlita Post of Union City, OH, Tyler Greer of New Weston, OH, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Travis Greer, Brandilyn East, daughter in law Karla Greer, son in law Ed Adkins, and great granddaughter Melody Ilene Adkins.
Visitation will take place on Thursday December 29, 2022, from 9am to 1pm at Reichard funeral home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN. Services will follow at 1:00pm Burial will be at Snell Cemetery in Union City, OH.
A luncheon will take place after the graveside service at CrossRoads Church 229 W. Pearl St. Union City, IN
