Chuck, I´m so sorry to hear of your father´s passing. Thankfully you and your family have a treasure trove of memories to lean in to for the coming days, weeks and months ahead. I´ll be praying for you and your family. As a side note, I´m sure you don´t remember me...we use to run in the same running group back in 2006-20012+. Anyway, you were always faster than my run/walk/run. I always thought it was cool having a running Pastor! Again, I´m so sorry...you´re family will be in my prayers.

Dr Hasty was our pastor in Athens GA and our family LOVED his family. My parents, Ben and Emily Barrow, spent a lot of time with them, sailing on lake hartwell among other things. He performed our marriage ceremony (Andy and Betty ) in 1977. In fact I believe he married off all four of us Barrow girls. When Andy and I ran back down the aisle at the end of the ceremony he called us BACK up to the front of the church because he hadn’t finished the ceremony! We have laughed and laughed about that. I know his children and their children had such a loving mama and daddy growing up. Betty Barrow McCanless
