Charles Thomas Hicks

Charles Thomas Hicks, age 56, of Uniontown, Arkansas died Friday, November 16, 2012 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. Charles was born August 31, 1956, to Charles B. Hicks and Edna Hicks Walker in Texarkana, Texas. A U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Red River Army Depot, he was an Arkansas Constable for District 1, Crawford County, and employed by Professional Security of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles and a brother, Alan Hicks. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Monette Buford Hicks; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel Hicks, and David and Deanna Lambert; his mother and step-father, Edna and Jim Walker; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Roxanne Hicks; and a sister and brother-in-law, Nelda and James Cromer. Graveside services will be private with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Briggsville, Arkansas by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
