When I think of Chuck, I think of the greatest generation, men and women who were able to set aside their fear and sorrow in times of great danger and challenge; in order to do the job they knew they had to do. And I think of the phrase, "freedom is not free", we know it took the blood of those men and women who chose to stand up when their time came. I think of the tremendous legacy Chuck has left for the Horner's and the others who have gone before him. We have quite an act to follow. May we all stand up in our own way when our time comes. I have been remembering you Chuck and Marlene, and praying for you. I am sorry I cannot attend.

We hope you have received our flowers in time-we couldn't make it down. Bobby was touched by Uncle Chuck's announcement, and recalled his passion for planes. A love they both have. May your memories and God's love comfort you.
