May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 116:15.

I always wondered what became of Sterling Jernigan. I fondly recall Dr. and Mrs. Jernigan when they lived behind WSB TV and later off of West Wesley Road. They were dear friends of my Mother and Dad and would see each other all the time, either at All Saints Episcopal Church or just having fun together. I can picture their smiles. I recall Sterling had a broad smile, too. May peace be upon the family at this time but know that everyone will be reunited.
