What a priviledge it was to know Charles, his deep voice yet quiet presence will be missed. How comforting it is to know he sleeps in Jehovah's memory awaiting the resurrection. Our prayers are with you Cindy, and your family at this time.

So many people have stated that my dad was a great person...and yes, he was beyond words. It was a privilege for me to be able to spend the last month with my father and to help my mom take care of him. It was a great comfort for both of us and I could never imagine being anywhere else or doing anything else. This is where I needed to be. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.

Gena,
Your dad is at peace now with our heavenly father. My arms will forever be wrapped around you as if they were your fathers. I believe I see him in Skylar. Just know that he's always with you no matter where you are, or what you do. I Love you immensely.

I love that picture of my father. He was a great man and I LOVED him very much and I know he loved me to. I am so grateful that can never be taken from me.

I regret not getting to know Charles better. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, that photo of him portrays the face of a kind and loving man. The smile looks natural, so he must have been accustomed to smiling often. He married my sister, Cindy, so that tells me he was a great judge of character. Their love stood the test of time. Through thick and thin, they remained faithful to one another. This final battle he waged found Cindy faithfully at his side. We can all take a lesson from them.
Eternal rest grant unto his soul, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
Love & prayers,
Darillyn

Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children,
Charles was an honest, caring person that would do anything he could for his family, always an enjoyable person to be around; His caring nature, odd sense of humor, commitment to family live on in you. Being there for your Mom and Dad under this intense situation shows your compassion and selfless nature. Where some think only of their own feelings you thought of the ones you love and put them first.
Your Father lives on in you.
It was a great honor for me to have him as my Father-in-law, he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all.
