God welcomes a man that had great warmth. He supported my dreams, he was genuine and real. I wish we could talk one more time.

This is so very sad. Dr. Konder was the first one I saw when I started going to North Bullitt...he pulled my wisdom teeth and I had no pain, no swelling...it was wonderful. He was such a kind person. My husband then started seeing him and equally enjoyed his dentistry and chair side manner. He will be deeply missed.

I was so glad that I found North Bullitt Dentistry when I first moved here. Dr. Conder was my dentist for a very long time . He was a hard working man who loved music and his family. He was kind enough to ask after my husband´s health every time I was in the office. He will be greatly missed. I am so sorry to know of his loss. My sympathy to his family.

Kent was the kindest, most caring, most professional dentist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I knew that, when I was sitting in his chair, I was getting the absolute best dental care available anywhere. He once told me, "Mr. Kaiser, you're always so relaxed when you come in here." I told him, "You've never hurt me, even once, in all the time I've been your patient, so there's no need for me to ever be anxious or scared."
Kent was always so upbeat and happy, and so laser-focused on the needs of his patients, I never even knew he was unwell, which is why I was beyond shocked to hear the news of his passing. My favorite author, Mark Twain, said, "Let us endeavor to live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry." I believe that is the way Dr. Conder lived. Extending my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Conder family, and to Dr. Meunier and the rest of the team at North Bullitt on the occasion of this incalculable loss.

I, like so many, never spent time with "K.C." without laughing until I was crying! Oysters at Rumors, concerts (he gave detailed histories of the band and set lists) UofL ballgames and family times together. Kent always did his homework and specialized in the exquisite details. We both are "girl dads." The world has lost an exceptional and great man! My sincere love and prayers to his family. May God grant you comfort and peace as you share fond memories, celebrate his incredibly impactful life and legacy! Shawn Moore D.M.D.

Kent was my best friend during my childhood for many years. We met when we were around five years old and shared countless adventures together. One time, we decided to "run away" on our tricycles. We only made it about a block before getting scared and quickly turning back to go home. Kent and I spent endless hours coloring on the front porch and "camping" in the backyard at night. We also grew close to all the kids in Lynnview on Bluebird Avenue; our friendships felt like family. Kent talked about wanting to become a dentist even before he was old enough to get braces. I'm happy he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream. Our prayers and love go out from our family to yours.

For those that don´t know, I am fortunate enough to have been dating Kent´s middle daughter, Maria, for the last 6 years. There isn´t a man in this world I would rather have had the pleasure of getting to know and love than Kent. He was an amazing man and father, my dentist, an absolute master of the grill, one of my best friends, and another dad to me. I could call him at any time (he would always answer) and we would talk about UK/UL, bourbon, the NFL, family, and anything in between. He will forever have a special place in my heart. One of the best people I´ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, and that will never change. I hope to see you again one day. Love you, Kent.

Dr Conder was my dentist for well over 20 years. I think I started seeing him a year or 2 after they opened their practice. He was so personable. He always asked about my kids, my grandkids and everything in between. He knew me. He knew my family. He always made me feel comfortable. I actually enjoyed the dentist all because of Dr Conder. He was a very proud man and extremely proud of his family. I'm going to miss him deeply. There will never be another like him. Many prayers for his wife and daughters and the rest of his family. You will definitely be missed.

Our family moved to Louisville in 1969 Kent was the first person we met. He became a longtime friend and we spent a lot of time with him. He remained a dear friend and became my dentist in 1998 when I moved to Willow Way In Shepherdsville the same street his practice was located. He will be greatly missed.

Kent and I first met in school in 1988. We had a friendship that eventually led to a partnership in our dental office. He was the perfect partner, and worked tirelessly to make sure the business was successful. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn´t change a thing. He and I spent half of our lives together the last 30 years. We went to ballgames, the race track and ate a lot of oysters (business meetings) at Rumors. There are so many memories. I miss my friend. Prayers for Mary-Lynn and his daughters.

I have been a long time patient and friend of Kent Conder. We both served in the Navy Seabees, in different battalions. But we always had stories to tell. I looked forward to my visits always to talk and laugh with mySeabee friend. He will be surely missed and loved. Rest easy brother, we have the watch.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Conder. He always asked after me and my husbands health. I had no idea he has having his own issues, I´m shocked. I´ll miss him. We discussed loads of things over the years. I always was apprehensive in the chair but he distracted me by asking me stuff that I couldn´t answer due to all the stuff in my mouth . My condolences to his family and friends. I am truly very sorry.

Kent lived across the child, and though we weren't close, he was a major part of my childhood and teen years. I didn't know he had been in the military. Kent, thank you for your service and commitment. You will be missed.

Girl dad, love of and service to country, sports, music, laughter, gambling. Other than all of that, Kent & I had little in common.
Love you dearly, my brother. I promise to try to live as joyously and appreciatively as you did.

I worked with Kent way back in the 80´s at GateWay on Preston Hwy. At Gateway Kent was always funny and a joy to work with. After that we reunited again in 2000 when he became our family Dentist. While I was in the chair Kent would always ask me about my family, we would exchange stories about our kids, UL/UK games, vacations we took with our families and there was always the discussion of when the next Poker Game would be. We always loved having Kent over for our Poker Games because he would normally lose anywhere between $20-$50 when we played. We would always tell him "Thanks for the Donation Kent" when he left and we would all laugh. I´ll miss you Kent, you were a great man to hang around with, always funny and always in a good mood.

To MaryLynn and family,
We extend our sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband. While we only had the pleasure of meeting Ken once at Josa and Matt's wedding, my husband and I found him to be a remarkable individual. May Ken rest in peace with the Lord.
In our prayers,
Bettina and Kalen Clapper

Going to a Louisville football game with Kent, my dad, and a friend of mine. Kent´s energy at the game and smile he wore as his team played was contagious and will forever be a great memory for me and my dad to both share with him. And he made sure to always tell you if your "L" was backwards!!!
Ps. He also made me love going to the dentist again! Kent truly was a special human and it was a blessing to have called him a friend.

Everyone (I truly hope) can remember a laugh that was so profound, so indescribably funny, that you NEVER forget it, or the person you shared it with. Kent and I were stationed together at the SEABEE Center in Gulfport, MS, in the mid-90s. We shared such a laugh. Propriety prevents me from going into detail, and explanations of these events often never do them justice. Suffice it to say, Kent and I were literally in tears for minutes, we were forced to sit on the curb in front of the restaurant from which we had just emerged. We couldn't breathe with fits of uproarious laughter. That moment cemented our friendship forever!

Kent taught me about bourbon, fast horses, and joie de vivre. He readily took up my mother's wonderful cooking and my father's sage advice. In his last days he displayed tremendous strength in the face of his own mortality - a lesson to us all. You are missed dear brother-in-law.
