Ed is one of the finest, warm hearted, outgoing, and honest men I have ever met. Since I was a young lad, I have admired his demeanor and his ability to make amyone feel welcome and right at home. Ed and his charming wife Beth were a loving, caring couple who reached out to help others, the perfect example of good neightbors and great Americans. Our deepest condolences to Charles, Edwina, and Ardeth who will miss their wonderful parents always. May the Lord bless you and keep you close.

Ed Kirksey was one of those special people who always had time for his friends. My husband and I worked with him at the railroad. He was a God fearing man and will certainly be missed.

We thought so much of Ed and Beth. My parents (Willie (Bill) and Edna Vinzant were very close friends of your Grandparents, The Orr's in Portales). When we lived across the street from your parents on Kathie Street they were so special to us. We enjoyed them so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time. I know you all have many special memories to keep you parents close to you.

Where do the words go to tell loved ones of the sadness in my heart for the passing of Ed. Ed told me at the Christmas concert he was ready to go be with Beth and Jesus. I shall miss him, his humor and kindness. My heart hurts for your hearts! Lola Hambrick and family
