Good times at the general store at Old Key West, always remember Christopher loving stocking and how wonderful both Charlie and Sandy took such great care of him. I know Charlie is together with Christopher in a much better place. My condolences to Sandy and Valerie.

Charlie,
Most of your friends are mentioning the good times you had in Florida, but my memories go back much farther. Back to 1944 when we began playing little league baseball for the Rinkydinks and the Stinkywinks. And later when we made money by picking blueberries at Mick’s farm for 6 cents a pint. A couple of more years and we discovered that girls were more than objects to be teased and attach spiders to. At the same time, off to high school followed by minimum wage (75 cents/hour) jobs in local clothing factories. Then, during the time of the Korean War, two years in the Army. In 1959, you and Sandy were married and later had two children, Chris and Valorie. In the 1970s, we took trips all over the States to watch the Phillies play. Then you retired from managing the Senn Plumbing & Heating Company and moved to Florida. Wife Gini and I would visit each spring and we’d all drive to Clearwater to watch the Phillies play a couple of spring training games.
I’ll let your Florida friends and co-workers at Disney take it from there, but you can be sure that as long as I’m still around I’ll think often about you and the times we had in the “good ole days”.
Miss you already, Skeet (and wife Gini, of course)
