With heartfelt sympathy to the family for this loss. The Bible assures us of where our loved ones are and gives a wonderful hope that is in store for them in the future.

Uncle Chuck,
You were my grandfather when I needed one, always had the neatest stories and stuff you "found". You always had a smile on even when it hurt. You showed me what it really looks like to love your wife and put her wants ahead of your needs. You never let me forget that you could break my hand when you shook it. Thank you for letting me help even though you could still take care of yourself. I will always remember your example.

Wanda,
We are sorry to hear of your great loss. Chuck was a great guy and we have many fond memories of him as a favorite Ursuline neighbor and friend. Remember our fun times at the VFW? God bless ! May he rest in peace.

Thank you Uncle Chuck, for welcoming me to the family, giving us our rehearsal dinner, taking the movies at our wedding, hosting so many holidays, telling us how to fix anything that broke, bailing me out with car troubles, driving Rose around town for us, for being "Grandpa" to my kids and grandkids alike, and most of all for your gentle, kind and loving ways to me always. I love you. I miss you.

Everyone needs an Uncle Chuck.
My Uncle Chuck was a man who loved to talk. He could tell stories about nothing and everything for hours on end. He never missed an opportunity to laugh at a good joke, and He represented the best of classic American culture. He worked hard when he worked. He didn't judge people unfairly, but could smell a crook from a mile away. He was a giver and a teacher in that his favorite two sentences were "Here, I have something for you" followed immediately by "Do you know what it is?"
Uncle Chuck taught about what life used to be like, a window into the past. In his passing, we find a window into our own future, where we will again see him in the Great Beyond. I know exactly what he will say when we meet up with him in Christ. "Come check this out, I have something to show you" followed by "Do you know what it is?"
