To the Lenz Family, (Barbara, Donna & Debbie)
I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. It wasn't more than a year between my Dad and Uncle Sam's passing. Memories last forever, the body doesn't. What makes it easier is to talk and reflect on the memories, it really does help.

Donna, Barb and Debbie,
I always enjoyed playing ball with your Dad at Banksville school. He was always a very special gentlemen and a fun adult to be around as a kid. I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. Hope all of you are doing well.
Best Regards,
Tim Welsh

TO The Lenz Family, With deepest sympathy to you all. Charlie was the one of the nicest co-workers I had while with the County Police. Charlie always had a smile that could light up a room. I truly enjoyed all the conversations we had and the visits he made to see me at the County Airport. He shared so much of his wisdom with me and I will never forget the times, the letters, and conversations we shared. God needed another "Special Angel" and he called you home Charlie. RIP my brother in law enforcement.
P.S. Thank you Mickey Murphy for being a wonderful friend to Charlie. You are pretty special yourself.

Charles Lenz: So well remembered. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with "Der Lenz" in the homicide section of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. Rest in peace, Charley.

Dear Barbara and family,
Mr. Lenz will always be remembered so fondly by those of us so fortunate to know him growing up and after. Always a smile and hello and even joining us to throw around a football at the school playground. He was a wonderful man and I know you will miss him and so will all who knew him.

Charlie:: You've probably hooked up with "blue eyes", Joe Moe, Freddie Cooper and Pampena. Hope you all still have a good laugh! RIP, you're a good guy.

Uncle Mannie was so very special. I will always remember the night he chased Barbara, Donna, Debbie and myself (cousin Cathy Kobert Pollack) up the stairs with a belt -we where making a lot of noise playing strip poker-we woke him up. WOW.. Love to my family... Catherine Kobert Pollack--Florida
