Judy and family,
Master M. has been such a big influence in my life. I often hear his voice sharing a lesson and not just in martial arts classes. I remember his strength and his kindness, his humor and his discipline. I also remember enjoying watching the teamwork and caring between Judy and Chuck both at the school and at the dinner club. So many laughs and good times to remember. Wishing your family the best and my deepest sympathies for the loss.

Masters M, You both have been, and always will be in my thoughts and prayers. Master M has, and I suspect will continue to influence my thoughts and actions forever. I have often used examples of his to teach others, not just in martial arts, but with choices in general. Remembering the classes he taught brings a smile to my face everytime.

So sorry to hear of Chuck's passing--I'll always remember the good old days. It should have been Marriott (café) that paid him instead of UVM--he could always be found there' Know that he was loved here on campus.

Dear Judy and Family,
My deepest condolences. I was saddened to hear the news of Chuck's passing. He was a great person and I have many, many fond memories of him during his time at UVM. He was a unique teacher that not only loved the science but also the student. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Master M touched so many lives through his teachings of martial arts. The lessons we learned, the camaraderie and friendships we formed, the fun we had! Our time in the dojang was so special and meaningful; who we are today is due largely to our experience at Marschke's Taekwondo. We carry with us now, and will always carry with us, all of the wonderful things that Master M shared with us. His spirit lives on in each one of us.

It was a pleasure to work with Chuck at UVM. He always made you laugh and I loved the way he would always demonstrate his new Black belt moves on Tom Kellogg in the office. He will be greatly missed and remembered. Pat Dartt

Master M will always be a part of my life. His influence on me through the martial arts has shaped who I am. I remember with fondness his sharp whistle to start class, the “new” chon ji, snow volleyball, sugaring, black belt meetings, his watery eyes at the end of my black belt testings. I am forever grateful to him for giving me so many wonderful memories and my most cherished circle of friends.
