**Obituary for Charles Leo McClenahan**

Charles Leo McClenahan (Chuck), age 80, passed away on September 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and excellence. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra, and three children, Kelly, Scott, and Edie (Jason) Britton. Chuck is also survived by his three grandsons, Connor, Cameron, and Dylan.

A distinguished Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), Chuck was a prominent figure in the insurance industry. He was known for his insightful contributions and served on the CAS Board of Directors. Chuck was a frequent speaker at industry events and authored numerous papers and articles that enriched the field of actuarial science.

His passion for his work was matched only by his love for his family. Chuck will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the sense of humor he shared with his family and friends.

Chuck's quiet strength and enduring love leaves an indelible mark on those whose lives he touched that will never fade. He lives on in the way his children carry themselves and in the values they hold close.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.

Dear Deb
We are sorry for your loss.
Chuck will be missed. I always knew he was on your back porch when I smelled cigar smoke. He tried to teach Terry how to make a mixed drink and Terry always failed, Chuck would roll his eyes and laugh. He put up with my dogs running in your backyard after rabbits. He loved the cubs, but not as much as he loved his family. I´ll never forget him always saying yes dear to Deb when she would run her ideas by him. Deb and her curmudgeon. We will never forget Chuck.
Love
Terry and Jackie
