I am so sorry to all the McGettigan family. Charlie was always available to answer any questions about Wilton. He loved the people of Wilton and we loved him. It will be so strange not to see him in town or to tell someone with a question to ask Charlie. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Charlie, you deserve it.

Charlie, It was always good to run into you downtown, in Town Hall, a Selectman's meeting, or wherever. You were a wealth of information about Wilton's History. Wilton Lyndeborough Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Service (Town of Wilton Ambulance) owe a lot to you and Bud McEntee. You were an asset to the town and the town was blessed to have you as a citizen. Thank you for everything you did.

Charlie McGettigan was one of the first to welcome us to town when we moved to Wilton in 1976. Charlie wore many hats in his beloved town; he was ever eager to talk about every one. Sometimes conversations got heated, but they always ended friendly. One of the best compliments he gave was to say 'You weren't born in town but you care about it as if you were so you´re OK'. You will be fondly remembered!
With our sympathy to the McGettigan Family ....

I have known Charlie for my entire light. He was a pillar of the Wilton community and made the town what it is. Thank you Charlie, and my sincerest condolences to the family.
