Charles Metz Obituary
Charles Alvin Metz, 80 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born January 21, 1943 to Alvin Metz and Lois Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his life long partner, Joyce Metz, parents and brother, Jr. Murphy.
He is survived by his three children, Rodney Metz, Tim and Laney Metz, Christi Dacus; grandchildren, Alec Metz (Brenda), Bryce Metz (Mallory), Hudson Metz, Spencer Metz, Brooke Dacus (Chase), Kaylee Dacus, Hunter Dacus; two great grandchildren, Raelynn Dacus, Mason Dacus and one on the way; grandpuppy, Binner; siblings, Mary, Brenda, Donna, Polly and several other family and friends.
Charles served his county in the U.S. Army spending some time in Korea. He was a sharp shooter. In his spare time he liked to work on electronics, mechanic in the shop and go fishing.
The Graveside Funeral service will be 10:30am Thursday, September 7th 2023 at Rushing Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons Alec Metz, Bryce Metz, Hudson Metz and Hunter Dacus.
