Charles Moffitt IV Obituary
Charlie grew up in Canterbury, CT. graduated Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School in the top 10 of his class in 1986. After graduating high school, he stayed on working for Plainfield pizzarama while continuing his education. He very much enjoyed the family atmosphere at the pizzarama, often reflecting on fun times and memories from working there. He completed his Associates Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering in 1989 from Thames Valley Community College in Norwich, CT.
After receiving his degree, he worked for many years as a gaming technician with T&M Distributors. As his passion in electronics grew, he started a new journey with Foxwoods Resort and Casino in 1996 to his present position as a Senior Electronic Bench Technician. Charlie loved his Foxwoods family, loved to joke with them, poke fun at one another and made mention more than a few times he was lucky to have 2 families, work and home.
In August of 1997 his daughter Arielle was born, whom he cherished with his whole heart. He was a proud dad; he would beam with pride when talking about her. Always looked forward to her school events, activities and as she grew older, he enjoyed hiking, kayaking and just spending time with her. He spent a lot of time on computer and video games with his nephew Travis. Charlie like playing golf or just hitting balls at the driving range, he loved watching all sports, and always looked forward to the baseball and football games with his teams being the UConn Huskies, Red Sox and Giants.
Charlie is survived by his daughter Arielle Moffitt of New London; his sister Kelly Roberts of Moosup and brother in-law Ronald Roberts Jr., nephew Travis M. Roberts of Dayville and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be no service at this time. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday Febuary11th 2023, at Music Lady Caf?, 6 Green Hollow Rd Moosup, CT 06354 from 1pm to 4pm
