I miss hearing Charlie telling the pottery ladies stories in the garage every Wednesday! De would roll her eyes but he always left us with one of his famous quotes! Wonderful family!

Charlie was a great Teammate, who all the guys could count on for the success of Mayhems Softball tournaments! He and DeRenda are some of the best people in this world and God has blessed us all with their talents and friendship! You will always be in our thoughts until we meet again Charlie.

Awesome celebration of life great to see everone

Met Charlie through Danny Parks. Played softball and baseball for many years together.

Every time we was around him you could guarantee you would laugh, he was so much fun to be around.

The first time I saw Corrie´s dad Charlie I remember telling her "Damn Corrie your dad is hot" she replied gross but I call it like I see it. He looked like Burt Reynolds or Tom Selleck. He was always so nice, full of wisdom and wise cracks. There was nothing he couldn´t do and Corrie kept him busy with projects. He was kind enough to let us use his classic car the night of our wedding. Derenda was our chauffeur. The Moore family are such a solid crew of wonderful and authentic people. We are so sorry for your loss and will be lifting you all up in prayer!

The first line of this is EVERYTHING! Coach Moore's one liners stayed with me long after graduating from Putnam City West. In college, if I was sucking pond water, Geez O' Mickey was running through my head, rent free. I was lucky enough to experience getting kicked off the softball field at West during a practice, yes he kicked the entire team off the field during practice (because we deserved it!!!) AND have Coach Moore as my Driver's Ed teacher. He was one of the best to have ever done it! I am so lucky I got to see Coach Moore one last time in 2023 at my brother Michael's wedding, to one of the PinPin clan, Tricia. I was able to tell him in person how much he meant to me and just how thankful I was for everything he did for all of us. Praying for you girls and the family! Love Nem

Coach Moore was the best. He was my favorite basketball coach and person in the school. He always motivated me and kept the fire burning to be best I could be as athlete and person. My condolences and he will be missed. Loved your dad. God bless and may he rest in peace.

What an awesome legacy this man left. A true mentor that touched tens of thousands of young men's lives. Myself included.
At graduation he literally gave me his size 13 dress shoes after he begrudgingly told me I couldn't 'walk' in Van's.

I remember how much work, heart and soul he put into building the softball field. I helped sling some dirt and do some concrete and created great memories. He was the one who got it built. He loved West softball.

Coach Moore was intense, profane, hilarious and the best coach I ever played for. He was outstanding in teaching basketball fundamentals and drawing up plays during time outs. I have lost one of my heroes. Whoever wrote the obituary got him right to a T. My condolences to his family and friends who will miss him like I will miss him.

I am so saddened by this news. He coached our summer baseball team and I don't remember losing a game. One night at Tri-City park, Russell Kim showed up behind the left field fence. He probably had the loudest stereo in OKC. As we were out in the field, Russell cranks up Van Halen's "Eruption" as loud as it would go. The players loved it, but it didn't go over so well with Coach Moore. He yells out to our left fielder, Ron Jefferson, "Tell Russell to turn that off!! We've got Boynton playing air guitar at 3rd base!!!" We all died laughing.

My love of Jimmie Buffet comes from riding around with Charlie , the years at western Oaks began my career and he shaped a lot of what I did over the years , eating lunch at Big Ed´s , laughing at all kinds of things , I can truly say I never had a dull moment anytime I was with him .. thanks to Mickey and Charlie for all they did as I started out
