ROBERT STORMS STORMS

I was asked to assemble a dance band for Bremerton High School's 50th class reunion. It was not an easy task as the former instrumentalists were not all ones who kept up their playing "chops" and it took some convincing to get the band filled out. Chuck Mullet was one of those people. On the phone, Chuck was backing out, so I told him, "I'm going to send you the music and then you can make a decision. After a couple of days Chuck answered with his decision, - "I'll give it a try."
The band played at the reunion, people danced, congratulated us appropriately, and we all went home.
Not long after that, I received a call from Chuck saying that he has decided to keep up on his playing. And about a year later, another call, this time thanking me for "Getting him into playing again". He had since joined several music groups, mostly jazz, and was enjoying every minute of playing in them. He had joined a concert band, dixieland band, Ventura Big Band, and a jazz combo.
I visited Chuck and Vivian a few years ago, and he brought me along to play in a dixieland band, who was rehearsing that evening. It was great fun sharing music with Chuck again. I'll surely miss him. He and Vivian were such welcoming people on my visit. What a joy-filled memory.

Truly inspired others to work harder to be better. Chuck brought out the best in everyone. While on a flight, Chuck sat next to the lady I shared a stateroom with in my first assignment in the Coast Guard over 15 years before. She told me how helpful he was as she traveled with the highest ranking leader in the Coast Guard-the Commandant. I heard about it from Chuck as well. He told me about she reminded him of me. I felt like I was part of a wonderful mentoring experience between strangers. Chuck inspired everyone.

I met Chuck in early 80s when I started my marketing consulting business and he had his technical consulting business. We remained friends forever through PSMA and other activities. He was a great friend and those friendship memories will be with me forever.
I will miss Chuck.

Chuck and I were in fifth grade together (Haddon Elementary, in Bremerton, WA, '47-'48). After fifth grade I moved further out into the county and attended other schools so our paths didn't cross until much later when we were both working in power conversion. That life brought us together both professionally and in our hobbies was an amazing coincidence.
Chuck was a fine engineer and a first class human being. I shall miss him.

I have many fond memories of working with Chuck as fellow PSMA members and participants in the planning of our industry's annual APEC event. I have also had the privilege on a few occasions to stay with Chuck and Viviane in their lovely home,
Chuck you will be missed for your energy and single-minded dedication to doing everything the right way and for living your life to the fullest. May our Loving God welcome you into your heavenly home.

What a wonderful guy. He was always willing to help when our PA was not working. I enjoyed his smile and the times we chatted. I will miss him.
