My thoughts and prayers are with Karen and Chuck's families. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. He was a truly kind and caring friend and always wore a smile. He had a fun way about him and always made me laugh. So sad that we too moved to Florida and yet didn't make the effort to visit, always thinking "someday ". He will always be my friend. So shocked to hear about Chuck. We looked forward to seeing him every Monday and Thursday at the gym/pool. Spoke often about our common background in Chicago. A truly lovely person, who will be missed. Our deepest sympathy.

I am deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend and former neighbor in Florida. Having lost my husband Joe 1 1/2 years ago, I surely can empathize with all Karen is going through. Karen and all of her and Chuck's families are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Hopefully now they can be at peace knowing that Chuck is not suffering any more and that he is in a better place.
