Dear Nelo Family Members,
I'm so sorry for this tremendous loss and that I didn't know about it until recently. (Probably because I lost two family members around the same time). I have wanted to see Chip again for a long time but didn't have the opportunity. I will always remember him as one of my favorite childhood/teenage friends from the neighborhood and Wisehaven Pool! Chip was truly a sweet and lovable person whom I always have and always will admire! I'm sure the Lord will take good care of Chip and I continue to send many prayers your way.

It's difficult to find any memories of Chip without a smile on his face and the infectious good feelings he bestowed on anybody in his presence. I'm sure the man he became in life was accented in those he loved and left behind. Much too young for a man of his character. My prayers for healing go out to all his family & friends.

Chip was one of the nicest kids in the neighborhood and I can't help but smile when I think of him. He held his own surrounded by all those Nelo girls! He sure will be missed...

I will never forget to this day of the night before the York Suburban homecoming football game riding in Chip's jeep with him and Mike Crowley preparing ourselves for our sleep over at Coach Hendershots house! Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Nelo family. RIP

My deepest condolences to Chip's family. We attended YSHS together and played EYC and Trojan football. We had quite a group of close friends who constantly tested the patience of our teachers, coaches and parents as we worked hard and played harded thru those great days of youth. My thoughts and prayers to all.

I know Chip is in heaven laughing with my son, his friend Douglas Deardorff, remerbering racing their Trans Ams on 83 to the horrow of pf parents when we found out many yrs later, God Bless his family. Janet Deardorff

I have'nt seen chip in awhile but I thought of him from time to time .I played softball with Chip and went with him and the rest of the guys to Hildebrands cabin.He was the life of the party.I will always remember Chip fondly he will be sorely missed.
