Dearest Robin:
I only learned about this last night from Ann and it was not what anyone would want to hear on Christmas Eve.
I remember Charles as someone both amusing and intelligent, and when I reflect about this and recall others who had these qualities I realize they go hand-in-hand.
Please accept my condolences.

Charles was such a generous and warm host. He could turn a salad from his garden into a feast, always accompanied by the widest possible range of topics of interest to the visitor. Best wishes to you Robin and your whole family.

Charles Nunn was my Economics prof at the U of A, 1965-66. He was always willing to take the time, whether after class or in his office, to answer questions or discuss economic theory with his students. Vharles made the study of economics interesting, and made me interested in it.
