My most sincere condolances to Family and Friends of Dr. Orgletree. My Father was Charles's 12th grade Civics teacher, Albert Canepa, who spoke highly of Charles. Mentioned him being quite the stand-out and mature beyond his years as a young student of his. He even invited my Father to the first full commencement speech he & Michelle gave at UC Merced's first full graduation ceremony.
I've no doubt he is sorely missed. He passed far too soon for such an obviously good soul.

Words cannot fully express the loss of such a great attorney, author, statesman, teacher, leader and humanitarian. He was a fighter for justice in our American System of Courts. He touched so many lives and will continue to do so. I met him March 16, 2005 at a special program "The O. J. Simpson Trial 10 Years Later: The Media's Role" at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. He is the individual that motivated me to continue to teach and help those in need. We will all miss him and his many contributions given to help those less fortunate. I am certain my friends at the university extend their condolences to the family. May God Bless his Soul!
