Charles R. Platt

I miss my cousin and our yearly birthday phone calls.

Mr. Platt was the best teacher I've had in years and no matter what he would make sure we got our lesson. Although you're gone, you'll FOREVER be in my heart. No longer will I cry tears of sorrow, but tears of happiness because you are now with GOD. May God bless and keep you in his arms....until we meet again.

I remember Mr. Platt as an honest and fair man. He showed no biases or favoritism. My late wife Laura Howard, class of 1986, spoke highly of him when she was alive. He was a great example to his race not to mention the human race. He was one of the few helpful people at the new walmart. God bless the man. God Bless the teacher. Like so many teachers he was a role model to so many kids. So many parents are not role models to their kids thats why we need teachers of his caliber and integrity.

I'm truly sorry for the Platt family's loss. Mr. Platt was a good man. He'd always make a person feel good about themselves. I'd see him at Wal-Mart sometimes after I graduated from McEvoy and he'd always smile and say "Hey beautiful." He is missed.

My deepest sympathy goes out ot the family of Mr. Charles. He brightened up the day when I worked with him at Wal-Mart. Though I no longer work at Wal-Mart I still would go visit Mr. Charles - Wal-Mart will not be the same without him. He will truly be missed. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family. Charles and I worked together and he was always helpful to everyone. He truly will be missed.

Mr. Platt was a co-worker of mine at McEvoy middle school. We had cafeteia duty together and he was always so helpful to me. When I was pregnant he would not let me do anything strengthenous. He was a wonderful and kind gentleman who will be greatly missed.

Charles Platt was a good neighbor. We will miss him dearly especially his friendly, caring, and sincere spirit. He was always helpful at Walmart as well. He was a people person and always seemed to know what to say just when I needed to hear it. The Platt family is in my prayers.

I am soooo sorry and shocked to hear about Mr.Platt. He taught me about 11years ago at Mccevoy. I always see him and he always remembered all of his students each time that he saw us. He will be sadly missed, and I send my deepest condolences to the family.
