I am just now learning of Chuck's passing 13 months after it happened. For Mr. and Mrs. Reiney, Mike, Joe, Rachel, and the entire family, I am so sorry. I have many wonderful memories of Chuck on and around the tennis courts. He was ALWAYS as kind of a person as you could ever meet or know. He was just a wonderful soul. He will be forever remembered and admired.

Chuck had the gift of making anyone smile & instantly feel happy & comfortable to be with him.
He never walks by, without acknowledging by name with a warm smile & engage in a conversation about family, kids & tennis. He always had his door & heart open to talk to to him at anytime.
Truly a great leader with empathy & compassion & never missed the opportunity to pat your back & support when needed.
Will miss you Chuck, rest in peace.

Chuck was a great man. Among the many ways you can see that is all of the lives that he impacted in such positive ways. And of course that's so visible in the 3 amazing sons that he and Megan raised. Chuck, you will be so incredibly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Reiney family. God Bless.

I got to know Chuck at TIAA and watched him play at OP a number of times. Chuck had this easy way about him, I'd always find myself opening up about all kinds of topics ranging from work, friends, family and our all time favorite topic- recovering from tennis injuries. Chuck had an amazing philosophy for nearly everything, I always came away with a positive perspective and a smile. I will miss him terribly. My deepest condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Chuck was new to many of us at Wells Fargo, but he somehow seemed like an old friend after just one conversation. He did not hesitate to walk up and introduce himself, ask about your life, and share something sweet about his own family. His demeanor and voice were calming and his actions intentional.
Chuck, we will miss your kindness, dedication, and resolve.
To Chuck's family, he knew he was loved and shared openly his dedication to you all. May your fond memories ease your pain of his loss. Peace be with you.

May the grieving family find peace in this difficult time. Chuck always talked passionately about his family, his 3 sons and his love for tennis. I had the opportunity of working with him as part of his team at TIAA for close to 7 years. He is an engaging leader and very kind when interacting with people. He approaches everyone in a friendly manner which comes to him very naturally. He is a friend, mentor and leader who will be missed dearly. Prayers to the family and hope they receive the strength and courage to overcome the pain.

I worked with Chuck in my tenure with TIAA and it was always a pleasure to meet him in person whenever he travelled to India. He always had a very positive outlook to everything and came across as someone who is very calm and composed. He was always ready to try out anything new whether its Indian food or even traveling new places. Felt very sad to hear this.
My deepest condolences to entire family!

It was with great sadness that I learned of Chuck´s recent passing. May the memories of his earthly life bring comfort to all that knew and loved him.
I had the privilege of coaching Chuck tennis in his adolescent years. He was an extremely bright and talented student and a joy to have as a member of and participant in my clinics. Keenly analytical, he always approached matches with a "well-beyond-his-years" analysis, and all could easily envision him achieving his later extensive professional success. His level-headed and calm approach to problem-solving foretold of someone that would also be a great parent and confidant.
His time here on earth was too short; however, his positive impact on those he encountered was great.
God speed, Chuck. May God watch over those left behind and bring them some comfort with your memories...as they have with me. Gordon Jones

I knew Chuck for a number of years prior to working with him directly. He was a great leader who always advocated "doing the right thing". I saw first hand how he supported his team, was a role model for humility and tried extra hard to establish the human connection right from the first meeting. Chuck will always remain in our hearts and continue to inspire us. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Hello, I worked directly for Chuck at Wells Fargo. I was fortunate enough to speak with him on a regular basis and build a strong partnership/friendship. We both had a lot in common outside of work with our boys...etc.. I considered the time with him the last 6 months so valuable to me in my job and as a person. I had deep respect for Chuck and enjoyed how he talked about his family. Prayers to you all. He was an amazing person that I will never forget.

I met Chuck for the first time on the tennis court for some doubles with Fight Club members at OP what seemed like a decade ago. He was immediately recognized as the best player on the court and a true gentlemen in every way. Discovering that he was a Furman graduate gave us something in common as one of my four brothers, Peter, was also a Paladin and MVP for the soccer team, like Chuck was for tennis. He always had a kind word and smile whenever I saw him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. Godspeed Gentle Warrior
