Chuck's friendly smile and strong interest will be missed. A very gentle, and beloved man, indeed. So long, Chuck! My condolences to you Sherry and to Megan and the family.

Played high school football at Madison South with Chuck. I was a freshman Chuck a Junior. Chuck did not play much in games my 2 years playing with him as teammates. He was a testament to do something you liked no matter the rewards. Summer conditioning, hot practices, freezing practices sitting bench game after game, not one complaint did I ever hear. He was the ultimate teammate and someone I admired and tried to do in life was I made a commitment you followed thru on no matter the obstacles. Enjoy Heaven Chuck

Chuck was a member of the Antique Radio Collectors and Historians of Greater St. Louis and a personal friend. I remember Sherry getting me to restore the chassis in a Philco console radio as a Christmas gift for him. She covered it with a blanket so he wouldn't see that the dial and knobs were gone :)
Chuck was always emailing me helpful listings of radio auctions and sales he found online to share with other club members. He really did have a heart of gold. I will miss him.

Here´s a photo of Mr. Ridenour and my mom, Jill, a dear friend of his. This was Christmas Eve dinner 2023. Mr. Ridenour was my high school teacher and I have nothing but fond memories of him. He sure put up with me during algebra class. I´ll miss you, Mr. Ridenour! Do well wherever you go next!
Love, Jess
