Charles Roloff, Jr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 21, 2022.
Charles "Chuck" A. Roloff, Jr. passed away on September 12, 2022 at age 80. He left behind his beloved wife Donna and three children, Brian (Cheryl) Roloff, Shellee Roloff (James Bauer), and Sheri (Owen) Strombeck, as well as his sister Catherine (Peter) Nash and many other family members and friends.

Chuck imbued a life of service and continually worked to make the world a better place.

After volunteering for the Army, Chuck continued working for veterans as an active member of the American Legion serving as Commander of Cudworth Post and later Dept. (State) Vice Commander. He was instrumental in launching the WI American Legion Foundation and took on the role of President. Additionally, Chuck was a long-time active member of Bethany-Calvary United Methodist Church serving as lay leader and treasurer.

As President of Lake Geneva Financial Services, Chuck helped clients navigate the insurance, tax, and investment worlds. A quick wit and always ready for a laugh, Chuck was also known for his love of dogs which he affectionately referred to as fuzzy buddies. He is now reunited with his loved ones and fuzzy buddies who have gone before him.

Visitation will be held at Bethany-Calvary United Methodist Church, 7265 W. Center St. Wauwatosa, on Sunday October 2, 2022, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Bethany Calvary UMC (https://bethanycalvary.org) or the WI American Legion Foundation (https://donate.chip-in.us/?nonprofitId=114384).

I was sadden to hear of the loss of Chuck. He was a wonderful man who loved his family and church. If you had a need and he could help he gladly assisted.

I sure will be one of many to miss Chuck. He was a great friend to my husband and I for many years. We will be lost without his advice regarding our financial situation and taxes. He always had a funny story to tell and was so pleasant to be around. He will be sadly missed by many.

Chuck and Donna were dear friends for many years. You could always count on Chuck to have the answer to many questions i had over the years with my taxes. I know he spent many long hours working at the office. He also was dedicated to the American Legion post. He was also cheerful and kind. We sure will miss him. RIP Chuck.
