You know, the highlight of St. Al's rummage sale wasn't the keilbossi sandwich. It wasn't the awesome free coffee.......It was Chuck. Can't tell you how much me and my friend Connie enjoyed kidding around with him. Some people make a permanent impression on your life. Chuck is a laughing face that we will always remember warmly. Our deepest, sincerest sympathy for you and your family. Thats a loss our community will all feel for a long time. Nobody filling Chuck's shoes.

To the Rothert Family - I am so very sorry to hear about Chucks passing. I worked for YC in the office and Chuck was such a great guy. He was Santa Claus for my now 21 year old daughter when she was first born and I will always remember him for his great personality and smile.

I so looked forward to seeing his smile and listening to his wisecracks at every sale! He was always very good to me and he seemed to find such amusement in everything - no matter when I saw him. What a great and fun-loving guy. I will truly miss him.
